Since I've been watching my calorie intake (about three weeks) I've lost 6lbs and 4" with just calorie counting, Leslie's dvds 6 days a week, and once a week I take a 2 mile walk outside just to get some fresh air. My weigh in day is tomorrow, so I may be down more than the 6lbs.

Thanks for sharing Maria and well done on the 41lbs since June last year!! Thats a huge achievement!! :D :D :D I hope I can also boast of a 35 - 40 lb weight loss by August or September of this year! :)

I joined SparkPeople last June. I was an outdoor walker all summer and most of the fall. In September I dug out a couple of my Leslie Sansone tapes. One is a really old VHS tape titled: Walk Away the Pounds with Leslie Sansone - 1 Mile Get Up and Get Started. This one uses waited balls. The other was Leslie's Walk Slim Fast Start! 1 & 2 Mile Walk & 3 Fast Miles. In November I added: 5 Mile Fat Burning Walk. In Feb. I have added: Burn Body Fat & Sculpt Arms with 2 pound hand weights. Since June, I have lost 41 pounds and I know that walking with Leslie this winter had greatly helped me to continue to lose weight. I track my calories in the Nutrition Tracker and my exercise in the Fitness Tracker. Yes, Leslie's DVD's have helped me. Because I enjoy doing them. If I didn't enjoy them, I wouldn't still be exercising indoors during the winter. Love her workouts!

So far I've lost 21 pounds, since joining in January, by following the recomended daily calories from Sparkpeople and walking with Leslie at least once a day.
I do her 2 mile walk once or twice a day that is free with on demand cable. I also bought and use her Walk slim dvd and toning band and switch that up with the ones that I can view on demand.
I've requested several others from my library to try out before I purchase some of her others. I really love her dvds. Even when I'm having a not wanting to exercise kind of day it's pretty easy to just walk along with her dvd. She's positive and energetic. The workouts aren't too hard either and can be modified.
