Our family has included Christmas-themed tracts in Christmas cards. I have sent Christian ecards from Dayspring and CrossCards to friends and included the gospel with them. ecards.dayspring.com/ecards/www.crosscards.com/ Also, a new website called Imissionaries began recently with a lot of great ideas for evangelizing through social media and Facebook in partnership with No Greater Joy. I've used a few of their videos in blog posts. I think it's a great idea! imissionaries.org/ Grace Mally of Tomorrow's Forefathers also wrote a fantastic book on witnessing called Will Our Generation Speak?. I wish you all the best in your witnessing endeavours, and keep sharing Christ's compassion with others! May God bless you all!
My husband and i went to visit a brother in christ who collapsed after church yesterday and is in icu critical condition. While we were at the hospital hubby starts placing tracts here and there almost everywehere. On our way out we caught a volunteer taking the tracts and trying to head to the trash. My husband politely retrieved them fom his hand and put them on cars in the paeking lot. Hes something! Lol! Side note we felt called to start a hospital ministry a couple of months ago. We began the mission and have heen told due to hippa privacy law we may not witness to patients unless we know them. Also most hospitals are denominations that prohibits it as well ...and due to policy. The devil or fowl loves snatching away the word! Amen??? Pray that we find our way for souls.
The most I've done is I read the Bible to my grandkids when they come over. I used to read to them before nap though, and now they're all in school I only get an hour in the afternoon at the point they're most anxious to move so it's not working out to well since school started.
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all they ways, acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths. Proverbs 3:5-6
Please share different ways you have of getting the gospel to the lost. It may not seem big to you; however, God Word will always prevail. We put tracts out at the grocery store
My husband and I were visiting a church once and there was a lady who was so happy to serve the Lord. She had suffered a severe stroke and was a bed-ridden, immobile woman for a great long time. She can move and come to church now. She is not able to do much physically but her time is precious and she puts the church address labels on envelopes. Now that is about an hour of extra time it gives the pastor to go on visitation. Her job is important, even though she didn't realize it at first. We can all be useful in some way.
The possibilities always outnumber the problems. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Kristie - Georgia
