How about ice cream? Next time you see some overly ripe bananas at the grocery store, pick them up and toss them (peels off) in your freezer. When you get the craving for something decedent, toss a frozen banana, some frozen berries, some cocoa and a splash of milk into a blender and blend til creamy and voila! Instant healthy ice cream.

If you're looking for something that won't leave leftovers, I'd recommend making a single serving brownie. I've only done it a couple times, but basically you put all the ingredients together in a mug and microwave it until it's done. There are a lot of variations, here are a few:

I haven't tried this one yet, but I just read about a banana-oatmeal cookie that you can make by combining 2 large old bananas + 1 cup of quick oats and bake at 350º for 15 mins. You can add in choc chips, coconut, or nuts or coco powder if you'd like. I can't wait to try it!
Hopefully this wasn't too much!

OOPS! Good catch!
Thanks!

Recipe calls for 10 slices of Ezekiel Raisin Bread. I don't like raisin bread so I would substitute another type of Ezekiel bread though.

Rhonda the recipe sounds great! I noticed that your forgot to add how much of the bread we should put in the recipe. Please let us know so that I can give this recipe a try. Thanks!

I get a lot of my recipes from Oxygen and Clean Eating magazines. Also from the Eat Clean Diet website and others.

Here is one from Oxygen:

Ezekiel Bread Pudding

3 cups unsweetened vanilla almond milk
2 whole eggs
2 egg whites
1/2 TBSP vanilla extract
1/3 cup organic raw cane sugar
1 TBSP cinnamon
1/2 TBSP nutmeg
pinch sea salt
olive oil cooking spray

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Meanwhile whisk all wet ingredients, plus raw cane sugar and spices in a large bowl.

2. Tear each slice of bread into about 8 pieces.

3. Lightly spray a 9x13 baking dish with olive oil cooking spray and place bread inside.

4. Cover the bread with the wet mixture. With clean hands press until bread is evenly moistened.

5. Bake in oven for 50-60 minutes.

6. Serve with berries and greek yogurt if desired.

Thanks Amy! I love phyllo dough but have never baked with it before! I may give that recipe a try.

Well, that is a tough question.

We use phyllo dough to line a pie pan. Mix 4 cups berries with a thickener, or 4 cups apples.
Add cinnamon. If you want a natural thickener, use arrowroot. Top with phyllo dough.

Not entirely natural, but we do eliminate a sweetener. It's always to sour for our company.

Hi Everyone,

I am pretty good and at eating reasonably clean for my regular meals but I get stumped when it comes to cheat meals/days/treats. I usually will save my cheats for a meal I eat out or for a dessert but since I've been cooking at home more I get scared to allow myself to indulge b/c of the temptation left overs have on me.
Any suggestions? Recipes/ideas?
