I just want to pass on a resource I have come to believe is crucial for people with diabetes: The book "Wheat Belly". After starting to read it I have decided to give up wheat and other gluten grains like rye and barley. The reason is that wheat in the form that it is grown today is not the same that it was 50 years ago. There are ingredients that make it more harmful than other carbs. You can talk to God all you want and that's great, but the changes happen when you start listening to him.
