Hi,

I would love a clean eating buddy!!! I'm good 85% of the time, but then like yesterday I just had a day where I ate WAY more than I need...it's usually all clean food, but portion control is my big issue. I would love to connect with some of you =)

I am 333 pounds and desperately need lifestyle changes. l believe eating clean is doable just not sure how so would really appreciate an experienced buddy. l am trying to take the time for myself at this time of my life. Im in. I have been trying hard since Jan. 2012. I have been eating clean for the most part off and on the last two years but decided this year I want to do better. I work out alot and there is no point in busting my butt working out and eating crap. Looking forward to getting it together. Been doing much better since 2012. Looking forward to this.

Okay everyone! I'm ready for a buddy!

I've been up all night with a very bad upset stomach and intestinal problems after eating cole slaw I bought at the Deli Dept in the grocery store. It was a new cole slaw and looked so good I couldn't resist and now I'm paying the price. It was very fresh but had no list of ingredients, so I didn't know what I was eating. Why do I do that? Trying to save time instead of taking 10 minutes to make my own and now I'm paying the price.

Posting each meal sounds like a great way to be accountable and to help one another, so this morning will be Day 1 for me. Lizzie

Yes, I definitely need a buddy! I do well with my main meals, but my snacks are awful. I eat more calories in snacks than I eat at my main meals. I must change that habit.

I would *LOVE* an Eating Clean Buddy!! I'm sorta, kinda, fairly new-ish to clean eating. Meaning, I know how to do it...just can't seem to stick with it! Darn those cupcakes!!

I have fallen way off the wagon and want to get back to clean eating. I exercise plenty (training for my first half marathon this weekend!, crossfit and Zumba) Now I need the nutrition to match. I pretty much know what to do. but am not doing it.

You got it! I usually have a protein shake that is as close to clean as I can get for one of those so I'll post that when I have it. I have to eat a lot of protein for health reasons and it is hard to get it sometimes.
I had an egg sandwhich for breakfast, I do my eggs in coconut oil, my gluten free whole grain bread, cayenne pepper (usually I put spinach on in it but I was out this morning.

snack FAGE Total 0% Greek strained yogurt mmmmmm and I add frozen organic blue berries to it in the morning, by mid snack it is ready to be mixed in. :D

Probably, a good place to start would be to read the thread about 'what is eating clean' to clear up any questions about it.

The next step is to look at the threads on 'what did you eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner' to get some good ideas on what is clean to eat.

I just posted what I ate for breakfast, and what I usually eat for lunch when I am trying to eat clean and gain more energy.

For lunch, I try not to eat breads or crackers as I usually get more energy from veggies, fruits and lean protein.

I would like to have a clean eating buddy, too. I used to follow a strict clean eating diet due to health problems, but gradually got away from the being so strict with my diet. I would like to get back to eating clean since I feel more energetic and healthier when I eat well. I work with 1st-4th graders in a public school and am around candy all of the time since my roomate and I reward our children at times with candy. I am mostly using a sticker reward system which seems to work as well, hence, don't have to look at the temptation of candy. Also, was couponing lots, however, most of the food for coupons are processed so will be not focusing on saving money on foods unless it is healthy with no preservatives. Hope to buddy up with a teammate soon!

ONCE AGAIN!!!!!! I AM FREE!!! lol I am getting better and better at eating clean. I'm not sure what a Buddy would be doing but I would love someone to give me some ideas and recipes. I am into walking my dog mostly, we do about an hour. If I don't walk him that way I hit the gym, which is a new thing for me. I am also starting on some strength training and other exercises. I am going to sign up for a few 5Ks this year also. You sound like you have a lot of knowledge with this so I would love to hook up emoticon

Hi everyone! I've been eating clean since 2004. Every once in a while I fall off the wagon but mostly I'm on. I find I feel so much better when I stick to eating clean principles but sometimes I will indulge in something sweet. I've learned everything must be done in moderation.

I'd love a buddy. I've been a member here since December, I follow a clean eating, flexitarian meal plan (predominantly plant-based). I do mostly organic, free range, sustainable foods. I like setting run/walking (emphasis on walking) endurance event goals and just finished the Disney Half in January - I'm looking to the Goofy in 2013. I've also done two marathons...I'm not as concerned about losing weight as I am about losing inches. My ultimate goal is to lose 10 inches by summer. This translates to about one jeans size or about 15 pounds.

In my spare time I'm a full-time reading teacher in an alternative school program (grades 4-8). I teach a college course one night a week. My husband and I are trying to start a family (had some bumps in the road and are now actively pursuing public adoption). And, I'm in my last semester of courses for my doctorate with a double concentration in reading/special education. I still have the dissertation to do but I anticipate graduating in May 2013.

Anyone want to team up?
