Pick up some packs of unsalted nuts and dried fruits (really check the labels). You can make up some little snack ziplock bags and keep them in your purse, car, at the office etc so you have a quick snack. It "never goes bad" so you don't have to worry as much about not having something handy.
I have made it a habit to prep my lunch and snacks the night before and get everything out for breakfast in the morning. It makes the start of my day run so much smoother! My kids play soccer so I always pack healthy snacks and fruit before we head off to games. I guess I never leave home without something in my car or bag just in case I need it!
I feel that you really have to be a good planner and very organized to make this lifestyle work! It is all worth it though!
