Blah...recently I was getting this low level nausea throughout the day, along with stomach cramps and I couldn't figure out for the life of me what was going on...until the day I realized that I wasn't washing out my plastic water bottles with dish liquid (I'm the only person in the household)...once I started sudsing them, the symptoms subsided!

Make sure you're getting adequate amounts of fiber and potassium!

Good article.

I did the ACV in water for a time, but I have poor tooth enamel, and my teeth got very sensitive so I stopped. I did think it lowered my blood sugar nicely though.

Careful with taking apple cider vinegar in water or too much of it, the acid can do a job on the enamel on your teeth. The benefits aren't proven but it sounds like people feel it works. I did see something online (link below) that long-term use might interfere with potassium, or heart disease meds and if you have diabetes it can work well but there's also a risk of it affect chromium levels.

I like it in salads and coleslaw I get the Braggs one. The probiotic is probably what's making the difference - probiotics are great!

I gather you take the apple cidar vinegar water just before breakfast, and then on an empty stomach in the evening; is this right?

I take probiotics and it helps me as well. I did not know about the apple cider vinegar, however. Thanks!

Those are great solutions for sure. I drink ACV water and do a high quality pro-biotic as well. I also keep teas around like ginger, chamomile, peppermint, etc. From what you posted it really doesn't sound like you had an "upset stomach"; sounds more like intestinal problems (a little lower than our stomachs...LOL!)

Aloe Vera is also very soothing for intestinal problems; I have used it with great success.

Hospitals are terrific for traumatic care; for acute care. They do a really, really good job in saving lives when itís a sudden bleeding emergency. But in terms of chronic care, theyíre terrible; (that is) in terms of the illnesses that most people have, endure, that cost the most money, that last the longest and ultimately die from. -Dr. Andrew Saul

a couple of weeks ago I was in the emergency room with stomach (lower intestine) pains. I got better, the pain subsiding and didn't stay at the hospital but went home. a friend recommended two things which seems to be working realy well:
Apple Cider Vinegar first thing in the day and end of the day: one tablespoon in 8 oz water
and
probiotics - acidopholus 2 tablespoons mid-day not with meals(to counteract the antibiotics I took for skin 2 months ago.)

I am into herbal and natural remedies and I think these two are really doing the trick. anyone have other stories?
