SP's calories ranges as always too low for me. I use a range based off of my Body Fat% which SP does do. I've also started calorie cycling which is good for the body as it helps to not get used to any one number. Both are methods talked about In Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle by Tom Venuto.
So sometimes this happens to me so I go back through and enter in all of my goals again. But maybe you're right and this is the calorie range for you. BUT if you are seeing a drop and the only thing you changed was your caloric intake maybe you just need to eat a bit more now. You can always adjust your calories on your own and create your own range. Maybe try that for a while then reenter in all your info again and see what happens.
Have you entered in your calories expended/week? This was a MAJOR change to my original recommended calorie intake at the start. Originally it recommended me to eat 1400-1600 calories/day then after I entered in my weekly calorie expenditure my recommended caloric intake jumped up almost 1000 calories!
Incase you haven't done this, to do it you would go to your start page and then scroll down to your goals and progress. Underneath where it shows your calories burned it should say "Burn 0000 calories a week" (instead of the 0000 it will say how many it defaults to) and then it will have "change" highlighted. Click on Change and scroll down to the bottom where it says "if you know how many calories you burn enter it here." And place your average calories/week total there. Then click "Save your Changes" and your calorie range should change on your nutrition page.
I have a question for all you clean eaters. I have been really trying to eat clean and keep within the SP calories ranges that I am given. I have noticed though that the scale is not moving (I am also not seeing a big difference in my clothing either). I am eating 90% clean and exercising. I decided to eat a little extra yesterday (about 400 cal over maximum calories allowed) and the scale finally dropped. I wonder if I am not eating enough or if it was a fluke. Has anyone else had this experience? Any advice?
As an fyi, I do eat at least 5-7 serv. of fruits and veggies, limit sugar and drink plenty of water. I am also doing moderate/intense exercise (Jillian Michael's Shred). Any help is appreciated.
