Well, for starters I have had a BIOIMPEDENCE test done at my naturopath's. Cost: about thirty bucks.
It tells me my lean muscle mass, body fat percentage, skeletal weight, body water, basal metabolic rate or daily calorie expenditure.
My daily calorie expenditure, if I sit in bed all day is 1700 cals (approx).

I choose 20 % carb, 40% fat and 40% protein ratio...
Other factors are this.. my fat is MOSTLY made up of coconut oil. Coconut oil, unlike ANY other oil, contains slightly less than 7 calories per gram. Al other fats contain 9 calories per gram. So, I haven't done THAT much math, lol to re-figure all of that out. Spark says coconut oil is the same as regular oil so I haven't bothered to recalculate (there's only so much number crunching I can do).
I haven't been eating grain for several weeks.... I have a STRONG theory that grain is at the root of obesity as well as modern day illness, such as cancer, diabetes, heart disease, etc...
