I make this daily!

I alternate between using green tea and white tea. You can use 1-2 teabags per cup of water and let it sit out and steep for a long time; I usually use half an hour.

If it's green tea I either buy organic lemonade (Santa Cruz) to mix or I do fresh lemon and agave syrup. With white tea I use fresh organic pomegranate juice. 3/4 tea to 1/4 juice to make sure you're not putting in too many calories.

I make it in the morning before work and I leave it to sit in my fridge for my boyfriend and I when I get home. It's tasty, healthy and easy!

I actually have done this to try and get DH of Mt. Dew! Didn't work but he said it was good! You do just have to make it stronger like others said, then I pour it over ice or let it sit. You can then make your own lemonade with lemon juice and whatever sweetener you like to use, and mix the 2. I used stevia, but that might not work some people taste it. You will just have to taste it as you go to duplicate the other one, adding more water or more sweetener or more lemon. Good luck!

When you make ice tea, use 2 bags/1 cup. My mom is from the south and we always had ice tea. She would boil about 2 -4 cups of water, pour the boiling water into a jug and add either 4 - 8 tea bags. She would then let it sit. Later she would remove the tea bags and put the container in the fridge, once the water had gotten to room temp.

Pour it out into a glass, add ice (and water if it is too strong for your taste). You can also add mint and/or lemon if you like those flavors. Or add in some fruit juice if you prefer. Many different options.

I would maybe try 6-12 tea bags to a litre of water. When you make things cold, they tend to lose their flavor I've noticed.

I'm not much into iced tea either. But, my mom used to make it. She would just steep her tea bags, then chill it.
If it were my tea. I would chill it, add some lemon slices and a wee bit of stevia and serve over ice. I would imagine you could use any type of tea you liked. Maybe a lemon-ginger tea? Or a green tea?

Hope this don't sound too dumb, I have never made ice tea, personally i don't like it but my son lives on arnold palmer half ice tea half lemonade drink. I don't like the chemicals in it so I am trying to figure out how to make it. First attempt failed. Thanks
