I am not a vegan or vegetarian though I eat very little meat. I avoid ALL un-fermented soy as I have learned that it triggers hormonal changes which for some people can be a real problem (whether they know it of not!). But fermented soy doesn't have that negative quality.
Un-fermented soy products are ones like tofu, soy milk, edamame, soy nuts and all soy look-alike products like soy "cheese" soy margarine, soy "yogurt". Fermented soy is things like miso, tamari, and tempeh.
Yes, there are members here that are vegan and vegetarian.
Hospitals are terrific for traumatic care; for acute care. They do a really, really good job in saving lives when it’s a sudden bleeding emergency. But in terms of chronic care, they’re terrible; (that is) in terms of the illnesses that most people have, endure, that cost the most money, that last the longest and ultimately die from. -Dr. Andrew Saul
