Hospitals are terrific for traumatic care; for acute care. They do a really, really good job in saving lives when it’s a sudden bleeding emergency. But in terms of chronic care, they’re terrible; in terms of the illnesses that most people have, endure, that cost the most money, that last the longest and ultimately die from. -Dr. Andrew Saul

I like that plan Laura; get sick, get riddance!! My mother did the doling it out routine and it just made me want it more. But I do realize not all kids are like that and it has to do with other factors including the home environment.

Hospitals are terrific for traumatic care; for acute care. They do a really, really good job in saving lives when it’s a sudden bleeding emergency. My way of thinking is to get it over with. I don't really like the idea of my daughter eating a sweet candy every single day. Spreading it out over months like that. Also encouraging tooth decay and bad eating habits.
I figure this way, it is more of a Halloween treat. She can go ahead and make herself sick on it, then it's over. Even she is starting to get sick of it. lol
One more day and it's out of here. All of it. emoticon

I have promised my accountability partner that I will not touch it. But, I do allow my boys ONE piece of candy a day. Between Halloween and Easter, I never have to buy special treats for my kids. LOL!

Do it for you. Don't ever quit.
Run now. Die later.

No worry for me - no tricker trteaters ever come here. didn't even buy any and figured IF someone came I have a stash of Lara Bars, Boomi Bars and things like that on hand. Didn't need them this year.

I feel sorry for those particular neighborhoods that are targeted for being GREAT PLACES TO GO TRICKER TREATING. The amount of money those people have to spend on Halloween candy must be enormous!

Leftover Halloween candy?!!!
I have opted for giving it away to the local foodbank. My daughter has one more day to indulge. She hasn't even come close to eating even half of it.
I told her to "go for it"; eat ALL she can. She had three days. lol!
Tomorrow it will all be gone.

What are you guys doing with all that Halloween candy?
