Well stevia is natural and so is raw cane sugar. Raw cane sugar is less processed form of regular white sugar. I use raw can sugar in some baking in conjunction with stevia. Sometimes some form of sugar is required to make a baked product truen brown or caramelize. That's why I rarely use JUST stevia without any other stevia in BAKING. However, if I want something to sweeten say a cup of coffee, I don't see any point in using it in "conjunction" with stevia. Get rid of the SUGAR and just use STEVIA. 0 calories too!
Hi! I had gotten the Sun Crystals a few months ago...mostly for the smoothies that I make. I haven't done any research on it...so I can't really say. Sorry. But I would think that some processing was involved with it, to combine the two together and make it crystally. I trust it though because I trust Stevia and use it instead of artificial sweeteners. Hope someone will know more about it! It's a good question.

Does anybody know if Sun Crystals are a truly natural product? The package says 100% natural blend of cane sugar and stevia leaf extract. Only 5 calories per packet. Has anyone done any research on their combining process, or know anything about it?
