I have been feeling really tired and very sore after my workouts this week. I thought perhaps it had to do with the fact that I was working extra hours, training hard and possibly not eating enough.
Well, I woke up this morning at 5:30am because I was hungry. I had a snack (yogurt and fresh raspberries) and then went to the bathroom. It was then that I discovered I had a visitor! I understood why I was having chocolate cravings and pain in my lower abdomen all week!!
So, I decided not to workout today because I was in a lot of pain (cramps) and feeling tired. I took a break today, rested and did some reading. I also took a few Advils but they are not working as effectively as I thought they would. Maybe I will drink some homemade Limoncello!! lol.
I have some questions I wanted to ask all the ladies who experience the cramps and tiredness.
1. Do you continue to workout or rest?
2. What foods do you eat to help you during this time?
3. Do you take any supplements or natural remedies?
I know that exercise helps alleviate the pain but when your in pain already and feeling physically tired, I don't think that it will make much of a difference; at least for the first few days.
