Was on vacation at the beach last week and the weekend so I forced meals to be Eat Clean...helped me stay on target. Planning to follow cooler plan 1 the next two weeks to give my self a boost...easier since I pack meals and snacks for work anyway.

how was your july 4th weekend? did you eat clean? did you find it difficult or easy?
i think i did pretty good and mom defintely helped. for my birthday, she made a delicious & healthy dinner. the family all met at her house and we had baked salmon, vegetable slaw, a bean salad, a veggie tray with all kinds of garden fresh yumminess, seeded whole grain bread and a dish that i LOVE from "Diet For a Small Planet", Rice Con Queso. i'll admit, i had dessert but it was mom's homemade banana cream pie with eggs straight from her friend's chickens.
oh annnnd i did drink on friday & sunday. before that, i'd really cut down on drinking. i've found that i'm so much more in control of my snacking when i don't drink.
