Ak-Mak, yes, great cracker, no junk!
Has anyone here made their own crackers?

Hospitals are terrific for traumatic care; for acute care. They do a really, really good job in saving lives when it’s a sudden bleeding emergency. But in terms of chronic care, they’re terrible; (that is) in terms of the illnesses that most people have, endure, that cost the most money, that last the longest and ultimately die from. -Dr. Andrew Saul

Alovebeam, which variety of Triscuits are you referring to? The original variety's ingredients (from the GoodGuide.com website) show:
Whole Wheat, Soybean Oil, Salt, Monoglycerides. That is very unattractive to me.
What do you think?

Are they making Triscuits without any hydrogenated fats these days? That would be cool if I trusted where the wheat comes from. I try to avoid GMO when possible.

My favorite cracker is "Mary's Gone Crackers" brand Here are the ingredients to the "original" variety:
Organic Short Grain Brown Rice, Organic Whole Quinoa, Organic Brown Flax Seeds, Organic Brown Sesame Seeds, Filtered Water, Organic Wheat-Free Low Sodium Tamari (Water, Whole Organic Soybeans, Salt, Organic Alcohol), Sea Salt.

My husband really loves Nut Thins from Blue Diamond. I think they are pretty clean...I'll check.
Yup, they look pretty clean--don't know exactly what is meant by "natural butter flavor":
INGREDIENTS: Rice Flour, Hazelnut Meal, Potato Starch, Expeller Pressed Safflower Oil (with Natural Tocopherols), Salt, Natural Butter Flavor (contains Milk).

However, I hardly eat crackers any more. they go too well with peanut butter which I am avoiding 'cuz I am a confessed peanutbutteraholic!!

I think Wasa Fiber Rye's are as clean as it gets. I like them because they have so little in them that you can add good toppings and dips without ruining my diet. Plus they are large and good for people on carb restricted diets. However, eating them plain is kind of like eating cardboard. I've never heard of Salba, but I looked it up and it's a supplement similar to flax seed.

Here's the nutrition the crackers:

INGREDIENTS
Whole Grain Rye Flour
Wheat Bran
Sesame Seeds
Oat Flakes
Wheat Germ
Wheat Fiber
Sea Salt
