Thank you for your thoughts, everyone. I guess i'll either take it easy on workouts this week, or go to Cooler #2. I just thought I would feel so good! Maybe I'll give it one more day- can you tell I'm stubborn?

I agree. If you are going to continue working out, I would modify (or just ditch) Cooler #1. If it were me, I would move to Cooler #2. With that much exercise you should have no problem dropping some pounds AND eating CARBS!
yeah you will be out of energy because you've removed serious carbs out of your diet - cold turkey - withdrawl. I lost 7lbs in one week doing Cooler #1. I didn't work out for that week either because I had no energy. I didn't make it to week 2, but I moved onto Cooler #2.
If you're going to workout like that you should do Cooler #2.
I started the Cooler Plan #1 yesterday, and I have been having a tough time, energy-wise. I ran 8 miles yesterday( my weekly long run) and couldn't even get through a short weight circuit this a.m. All I want to do is sleep..... However, I did lose 3 lbs. in the first 24 hours- crazy!
So, I don't want to give up yet- does it get better? Also, can we use ANY salt?
