Okay, true confession time . . . I was (WAS) having my jasmine green tea with a smidge of splenda - DON'T BEAT ME!
Today, I tried it with molasses (don't know if that's clean or not but, figured it's better than splenda). I'm not a big molasses fan but, SPARK recommend it to help get in my calcium - it's great with my oatmeal!
Anyway, I drank it but, it wasn't so great. I will drink my green tea straight from here on out.
I love green tea! Didn't use to like it though. I guess it is an acquired taste. It took sometime to get used to it. I started to drink mint green tea first, now I drink both regular green and mint. I put a little bit of honey in it sometimes. Most times though I enjoy it on it's own now.

I do not drink green tea like I should, either. But I have been drinking Jasmine Green Tea by Good Earth. I like the idea of adding it to Spark streaks/goals, I think I will try that too and that way I will be "accountable" for making sure I do it.
I have been thinking of taking my hot pot to the office so I will have hot water for tea in my office. There are some days that I am just too busy to get away from the desk long enough to wait for water to heat in the kitchen, but if it were readily accessible at my desk, I know I could drink more herbals that way! Not sure if the boss/co workers would like it though. I am the only one at the office who really does care about what I put into my body...some days, believe it or not, that makes working conditions a little stressful. *sigh*

Although I don't really care for the taste of green tea, I have been drinking it sporadically for a couple of years - Fall and Winter mostly. I recently found a green tea that I really enjoy (Bigelow Jasmine Green - it's so smooth and aromatic). But, I still wasn't drinking it every day (tsk). Today, I added drinking green tea (at least 4 times per week) to my SPARK streaks/goals checklist. woo-hoo!
I don't know what it is about putting on 'the list' - but, if it's on that list - it's pretty much a done deal! I will increase the frequency over the next few weeks and months.
