I'm the same way. Though I'm "supposed to" weigh 137, at 150 I'm wearing a size 8. Even when I was losing regularly, I'd drop sizes before I dropped lbs. Your body will catch up, but in the meantime celebrate the inches lost. You're making progress!
Your so right. I actually joined a PMA sparkgroup, because this was just depressing me. I'm one of those people that even at 195 lbs, I wear a size 12. My thinnest possible is 137 (size 6). I'm not your "typical" bmi stature.
You sound like me! I want to see the numbers going down on the scale along with the inches. But, what I have learned is to concentrate on what is happening. If you are losing inches then your clothes are fitting better and you are looking leaner. Hang in there and the pounds will go too. I'm sure you've been told that muscle weighs more than fat but takes up less space...so if you are doing any strength training, that could be the reason for the scales not budging. Keep at it and don't give up. Concentrate on the positive!!
