Hi!!!! I've started included more fruit and vegetables in their meals (lunch and dinner).
For breakast I've started making fruit smoothies with ground flax along with their cold cereal(still working on the hot cereal....that's not going too well).
Packed lunches are pretty rough as the school cafeteria still trumps me everytime.
Moms wraps or greasy fries??? I've hope still as I've noticed they are eating more of the packed lunchs than before.
Dinner, I prepare:) So it's 100% clean.
My new philosophy...Control what you could (breakfast and dinner) and hope they make the right choices with lunch and recess foods.
We can only teach and guide our children in the right direction, ultimately they must be the ones to choose.
Lead by example.
