It is so funny to read all the comments in this thread... My husband doesn't think that there is anything wrong with his eating habit, but I do try to sneak more vegetables and lean meat into his diet too. As long it's tastes good, and have meat with it, he eats it.

LOL - this has been on my mind so much lately! My boyfriend's a fire fighter with an awful diet... desert at every meal (cheesecake is both of our faves) His lifestyle makes it possible for him to stay trim and eat this way.
I have a desk job. My lifestyle does not support it! It's been a struggle for sure.

No he has weird ideas. He doesn't use the microwave because what it does to food is disgusting, but he eats kraft dinner and hot dogs. He hunts because wild game is less filled with dangerous stuff than store bought meat, but he eats entire bags of chips. Go figure, oh well its hard but I will persevere.

My husband is interested in eating clean with me. He had a change of heart when we went to see a health professional (naturopath, etc) because my sleeping was horrific. He was gonna go to subway right after my appt. but in hearing him talk he changed his mind and wanted to eat the way I was going to. He is more lenient than I am but then I have made myself accountable to this health professional for what I eat. It does make it much easier when someone is doing it with you in the same house. patty
He's not eexactly on board with me. He believes as long as he works out, he can eat anything he wants. I don't really talk about what I'm doing anyway. I sneak in fiber pasta instead of white pasta. I bake more than I fry meats. I will sometimes purposefully not include starches and opt for more vegetables instead. I'm sure he's noticed. But as long as the tastes good and is not tofu, the man will eat it.

At first my boyfriend was not interested in cleaning up his diet, but he has heard so much about it, and is a convert, he is totally on track w/ me now, so it does make it much easier for me. Before that, I just did my own thing and ignored him.
