Egg Beaters makes Egg Whites in the carton. You can usually find various-sized cartons to suit your needs near the eggs in any grocery store or Walmart. My favorite thing to do with them is OMELETS!!! :) Just pour a little bit of egg beaters egg whites in a hot pan (water should sizzle when you sprinkle a few drops on the pan...if it doesn't sizzle, turn it up a little or heat it longer). As the base of the eggs start to cook, sprinkle some diced veggies and maybe some spinach on the top. Fold it in half and then half again and eat it on an english muffin...with a slice of turkey bacon if you want added protein and flavor. :) It's a great alternative to an egg mcmuffin from Mickey D's.

My fav protein shakes:
1. 1 scoop vanilla whey protein, 1 c. soy or skim milk, 1/4c. canned pumpkin, dash of cinnamon, 1 c. ice.
2. 1 scoop chocolate whey protein, 1 c. soy or skim milk, 1 tbsp. peanut butter (or less), 1 tbsp. unsweetened cocoa, 1 cup ice.
Can you tell I have a sweet tooth? I like my shakes to taste like dessert. The chocolate peanut butter shake helps when I'm craving chocolate.
Oh, and I am using up the better n' eggs I have, then I'll switch to pure egg whites in a carton. I can't stand the thought of throwing away the yolks.
I now just buy the carton of egg whites...it can be pricey but what isn't anymore! I was doing the separating the whites from the whole egg but the waste was killing me. I rather spend the little bit more and not have so much of it go to waste.

Personally i just buy the egg whites in the carton. I only keep whole eggs on hand for the family when they want boiled eggs.
I like living. I have sometimes been wildly, despairingly, acutely miserable, racked with sorrow, but through it all I still know quite certainly that just to be alive is a grand thing. Agatha Christie

I read the book, and maybe it spells it out for me and I just missed it...
I understand the whole egg whites only. How does everyone else do this? Do you buy the pre seperated carton of egg whites, or do you just buy a carton of eggs and seperate them yourself?
Also, I'm looking for a good morning protein shake recipe, because I like to take my breakfasst along in my car ride to work...any suggestions?
Thanks for your help!
