Hey everyone, I just wanted to post that I started this way of eating at the beginning of April, and have had great success. I've limited myself to fast food and candy once a week(used to be several times a day!), started eating 5 to 6 times a day (instead of 2 HUGE meals), and of course making sure my meals are clean~ and I've lost 12 pounds!! I still have a long way to go, but I feel very excited to keep going! I'm finally listening to what my body needs instead of just shoveling down whatever I want, when I want it.
I can't forget that I have been exercising regularly as well~lots of walks with my dog, and doing my Jillian Michaels videos. She just rocks. Her bootcamp style is perfect for my two left feet.
I also walked the 5k portion of a *real* race earlier this month and had a fantastic time. I'm signed up for four more races, and I'm aiming to RUN one on Thanksgiving. I'd love to call myself a runner :)
I've also put up with a lot of *stuff* from every direction this month, it's been a rough one for me. I believe that if I had been bingeing on junk food and sugar, my mood would have been a million times worse, eating clean has helped keep me sane!
