I love Kashi bars almost more than Lara bars - I'll take the chewy or the crunchy ones. Haven't met a flavor I don't like. They are my sometime treat when I need a grab and go breakfast, or a mini-meal in the evening.
The Mountain Medley Granola is good sprinkled on Fage 0% Greek yogurt, with some fresh fruit.
On a road trip last summer, we had Kashi dinners in the freezer. I liked the black bean mango - wish they had more vegetarian offerings. I had given up pizza for about 10 months and my first slice was from a Kashi pizza - yum!

I just got a free Mountain Medley sample in the mail. Kashi was running a Get Off Your Butt promotion - not sure if its still open for free samples. Worth checking out!

Oh My Gosh I totally love Kashi Go Lean crunch cereal. It's a main staple in my diet. I store it in my fridge to keep it fresh & crunchy. I eat it w/ either skim milk or mixed into nonfat yogurt w/ blueberries. YUM.
The only other Kashi product I've tried was a frozen dinner that I didn't enjoy, but that's been a few years now. It's great to read everyone's favorites & get ideas of what other items might be good to try.

Oh I forgot about the Kashi dinners. I LOVE the black bean mango one. It's spicy and yummy!!! I've also tried the southwest chicken which is good too. I have the Rosemary Chicken on ein the freezer but haven't tried it yet. I only use them when I'm making the kid's their dinner and I'm out of cooked chicken or something. You know, those rushed days when everyone has to be somewhere and there is NO time!!!

i love kashi products!

the golean original cereal is my favorite- i have trouble keeping it to only one bowl sometimes though- luckily the serving size is a full cup and not like 2/3 of a cup..

i like the organic cereal- the autumn harvest and cinnamon ones to snack on dry- they replaced frosted mini wheats for me b/c i used to snack on those dry all the time and these are at least natural with no sugar

i eat the regular whole grain kashi waffles w/ a tblspn of natural PB & berries on top sometimes for breakfast

i LOVE the cheddar crackers, they taste like cheez-its- but better

i also love the tlc cookie with the dark chocolate- except i have these only on rare occasion when i'm craving chocolate chip cookies because 1 cookie is 130 calories- but the fiber in them keeps me full and i know they are better then regular chips ahoy

i want to try the pizza- i looked at it in the store yesterday and 1/3 of the pizza is 230 calories so i was a little hesitant on it...

i picked up one of the kashi meals- the chicken with lemon & coconut and quinoa but i haven't tried it yet

JKGIRL- thanks for the suggestion. I have looked into it before and unfortunately it costs a fortune. I don't know.. something about shipping it over an ocean or something, lol so annoying! Wish the world carried the same things everywhere!!

yep thats the one .. it wasn't bad ... tasted yummy with fresh fruit. I added milk for extra protein .. so it came to 30 g ... not much of a protien protien shake, but i can't drink the 56 - 60 g protein shakes ... i get sick .. but they're definetly worth trying though.

I've had the Kashi Go Lean Vanilla flavored powder shake mix stuff. It's not bad, I use to mix it with frozen berries so that helped.

One thought though, the one I drank was more of a meal replacement and not really a protein shake. (With milk I think it was maybe 22 grams?)

I've eaten the Kashi Honey Oat Waffles for a while - just plain and toasted, though you can add honey to them as well. I just bought their high protein cereal, which is good with fresh fruit added in. I also just tried their hot cereal, though I added nuts for more protein. I've also had one of their pizzas - they have a lot of vegies on them - and it was very good. It's 3 meals for me, but I just put the other servings in the fridge after cooking it. I'm also a fan of the granola bars - I keep some in my car so if I'm doing errands for longer than expected, I make sure I have something to eat instead of picking up junk.

I love Kashi products!! I cannot find them in the UK though unfortunately :( I love the TLC crackers. I compared them to things like Ritz and Breton and wow was there ever a difference (more fiber, less sugar, less salt etc)!!! I think I got my family hooked on them too!

REPORTING - for the the energy shake. I tried the Vanilla ... it taste just like vanilla .... not like vanilla ice cream, but its not repulsing. I was able to drink it, and take 4 big sips of it ... instead of chugging the whole thing like I would have to with whey protein drinks ..

I didnt gag. It would taste better with fruit and peanut butter most likely for a recovery drink ... but I tried it for breakfast, cause I am going for a super long bike ride to take my son to a pre pre school class.

I only did one scoop though, gotta work my way up to two. But it was worth the money. All the other drinks, taste like dirt or vomit!

I love the Kashi products too. The great thing is even the kids eat them! I keep a variety of the granola bars on hand for those times we are rushing from school to soccer practices and there is no time to eat. The kids like them, I like them, and with a piece of fruit or some cut-up veggies, they are good to go until we can get home for some real food.

Tracy, I mix a lot of them together...like the Friends and Peach..they don't have much fiber and protein either, but mix them with some crunch. Its all good! lol

I am using a good tasting whey powder...its Optimum nutrition natrual vanilla..Its pretty good, and minimally processed :) I know you don't want to try another one, but I thought I'd throw that out there. ;)

I have some of the strawberry field cereal. I havent ate it yet though and probably won't because the fiber and protein in it is so low. I didnt read the label when I bought it and just assumed that it would been higher....I was a little disappointed to see it so low. I've ate the Golean crunch for so long for me its just so hard now to eat any other cereal that doesn't have a decent amount of fiber and protein.

My youngest daugher and son like the strawberry field cereal though, they've been eating it.
I tried the protein bars a few years ago...can't remember for sure what ones but I wasn't crazy about them....maybe a lemon one. I love lemon so it was probably the lemon flavor. I didnt even know that Kashi had protein powder until a month ago. I seen it at Trader Joes and thought about giving it a try. I have bought so many different brands of protein powders and everyone of them have made me gag. I've decided to stop spending my money on protein powders LOL I think my hubby will kill me if I come home with another brand of protein powder!!

I do eat the GoLean crunch and Heart to Heart. I buy the blueberry waffles from time to time. I do love their products! I've been very pleased with the products I've tried. I don't eat or buy them as often as before clean eating, but the cereal I just can't give it up!!! Kashi granola bars are the only ones I will buy for the kids, they totally love the Dark CHerry chunk ones....or whatever they are called.

Kashi cereal is listed as a staple in the Eating Clean checklist in Tosca's Eat Clean Diet book. I did not enjoy the cereals I have tried, but kept forcing myself to try it many times and finally developed a taste for it. I have seen many new-to-me Kashi cereals, so will probably branch out and try others soon.

I also eat Kashi. Even though I have a wheat allergy I frequently eat GoLean and GoLean crunch (which if crazy high in fiber) for b'fast. I occasionally eat their bars in a pinch. And their new pizzas are really tasty; I consider those a cheat meal, but one that I feel good about.

I buy all of the Kashi products. They are supposed to be very healthy for you. The ingredients don't list anything on the "ban" list. Try the granola bars. Dark Chocolate Cherry and Pumpkins Spice Flax are my favorites. Only thing that I can find wrong with them is that they are not very high in soluble fiber. Most of the things they put in kashi do not break down in your system. Flax seed especially. You have to grind flax seed to get an nutritional benefits from them. They put flax seed in whole. Your body cannot break down the outside hull of the seed. Other than that I feel the are acceptable to me. Hope that helps.

I checked the first four pages and couldn't find a topic specifically for this. Sorry if there is already one and if there is can you link it for me?

Does anyone eat Kashi products? I love the golean blueberry waffles and the strawberry fields cereal, also heart to heart. I want to try their other products but don't know if they're clean. Does anyone else consider them clean? They're supposed to be naturally processed foods right? I didn't see any added sugars or preservaties or anything ... or am I wrong on that too ...

someone please help. I want to try the meal shakes, and the granola and snack bars. I have eaten the three cheese pizza. YUMMY!

Anyone else wondering on this too?
