I bought the cookbook first to get me started. I knew what clean eating was and how to do it though (for the most part). I wanted some ideas. So I went with the cookbook.

But I recently bought her Eat Clean Diet book and read through it fast and loved it! It was helpful becasue there were some things that I thought were clean, that actually are not. So I did need it! But I love the cookbook and use it all the time!

I got all three of her books. I was just going to get the cookbook as I am a research nut and got so much good basic info from this team but I'm glad I got both...there is always something new to learn.

Best!

Buy both. Also she has begun a magazine subscription for a clean eating magazine that is worth the cost also.

I have all of the books. I think they are worth it. I don't always make her recipes just has she has it, but I do the basics and then make up my own variation.

The exercise book was pretty basic, I can't say I love that one, but I figure we are in this for life, so what doesn't apply now might seem very useful later.

I got the cookbook for Christmas and that was great but I felt I was missing something. i went back and bought the regular book as well. I'm glad I did, I use both almost on a daily basis for recipes but the info has been very helpful found in both of them.

I bought both of the books at Borders. If you bought one you got 50% off of the other so I got both books for $24.

Not a bad deal! You will love them!

I don't have the cookbook, but do have to say that I read similar books before ( body for life, abs diet for men and women) and I like the recipes the best, since I already have all the background knowledge. My problem is definitely not lack of knowledge- it's the willingness to apply that knowledge and act upon it. Ultimately, you might want both, since the book will make a good reference guide!

Hi "Curvy",

I totally agree w/ Lisa on this one! I bought both books at the same time, but the cookbook is just a cookbook if you don't have all the understanding of clean eating that the Eat Clean Diet Book provides. The book has a WEALTH of information. I realized while reading the book just how much I didn't know & I was fascinated by our body's chemistry & just how the eating clean will benefit me.
I didn't want to waste time getting up & running with this new way eating healthy and dropping weight, & I wanted to be sure I was Eating clean correctly , so I absorbed it quickly & still turn back to pages for reference.

You should also know, in the back of "the book" Tosca has a section of her recipes. I highly recommend reading the book!!

They are both excellent; however, if you can only buy one, I recommend the first one. The program is explained in very good detail and will get you going!

The Cookbook does have a lot of info that the first book doesn't have; so it may good to invest in it later.

Enjoy!!

I bought the cook book and am very pleased with it . I may still buy the other later but everyone is so helpful here I may not. I might even just check it out at the library but the cook book is better because you can have it to try recipes at your convenience. Just an opinion, probably they will tell you both! Lol! emoticon

I would go with her original book first...explains the thinking behind eating clean...and there are recipes in that book as well.

Hi guys :)

I'm just wondering -- those of you who have the Tosca Reno 'Eat Clean' book and/or cookbook: if I had to choose one to buy, which should I get? Skip the book and go straight to the recipes? Or is the original book better?
Thanks!
