Lindsey - I'm glad that surgery went well and now you can start working out again!

71 is huge, I never expected this to be so big, and it's getting bigger! However, although we're many people here, there's so little movement, I wish we could see more and more posts and topics around!

Hey you all! It's been a while since I visited! I can not believe how big our sparkgroup has grown! 71?!?!?!
Anyway, I'm happy to be back :-D I've been posting in another group since I've been home but I haven't been able to workout or anything like that until today! (Christina knows the story) but I had surgery last Tuesday and a week before that I was just lying on the couch because there was nothing else I could do. But now I'm back my Surgeon gave me clearance to do whatever I want :-D so yay!!

BUZZ:) my scale finally moved down :)wohhooooo i'm at 132.9 lbs after staying between 134-135 lbs for a while:)

oh i finally know some of my finals' dates: Jun 9 for HRM but i only have to turn in a paper, May 28 for Activity based costing but i already gave my prof the paper ...still have to find out the Negotiation final date and the Business Analysis (most likely to be turned in via e-mail).

i have absolutely no idea LOL the finals start on Jun 1 and end on Jun 30...probably next week i'll find out the schedule my self...:) but i have to be at school to supervise my students when they present their dissertation...so practically i'll be free in mid-July...till Oct 1 when classes begging..then the next finals and last are in Jan 2008 followed by dissertation in March 2008

i'm so sorry...i am very sure u'll find the right track again

i'm at 134 lbs...still...DH has been making fun of me being "Stuck" while all my clothes fall off me LOL

i've been doing a lot more cardio lately so hopefully my weight will change as well. but i need new summer clothes so it's time to shop soon

I've been the worst lately. I've fallen soooo low! I've actually gained weight!
I better get back on track, it's so frustrating to see the scales go up up up and still binge again and again.
I'm not sure about what I'm going to do to make this work, but I'll find the way.

Hello everyone I just joined this group yesterday. Well this is perfect my goal is to just be able to wear a bikini, I've never been able to cuz my tummy's too big :-(
my plan is to:
stay w/in calorie range
exercise AT LEAST 4 times a week
Concentrate on abs and arms, those are my trouble spots

my scale says LO that means i'm going to be left without battery LOL anyway it showed me at 136.3 lbs higher than last Sat but it will be more accurate when i buy new batteries.

i got all my grades frm last semester:
Business Administration 10 (best in Romania, A in US)
Strategic Marketing 10
Business Analysis 10
Cross-Cultural Communication 10
Computer Science 10
Law 8 (guess that's B in US)

they don't count towards my final dissertation grade but i feel good abt them :) LOL All but the Law course were in English

Hello everyone! how are you all?
So this is how I've behaved the last 2 days:

-Go to the gym and follow what my trainer has scheduled for me at least 3x/week - DONE yesterday, I'll go again tomorrow.

-Do at least 70 min on my stationary bike weekly - NOPE

-Walk to class (3miles) at least once a week - DONE today, and will do tomorrow

-Drink all my water - DID yesterday, not quite today

-Stay under 1,500 every day (I'm allowing myself to go nuts next Sunday, my grandparent's wedding) - DONE yesterday and today

So I didn't drink all my water today because I've spent 11h at Uni plus commute, so I couldn't afford needing the toilet all the time!

Oh a good thing is that since yesterday the rain and the cold weather are over! It's finally spring! (it's been a whole month without sun, and I live in a typically VERY sunny place!) so I wore a tank top to class, without jacket! yaaaay! we reached 85F at lunchtime!

My goals are to lose the "muffin top", stay near the bottom of my calorie range (1200-1600), eat healthier foods, and do strength training on a regualr basis.

I also cout walking as 1/2 the time... otherwise I feel like I'm cheating, because most of the time when I'm walking I'm also looking at shop windows, etc

i also use DietPower as a "back up" when my net is down and 40 min of moderate sexual activity counts for over 400 cal at my weight and age. anyway, it took much longer than 40 min LOL emoticon

oh yeah, walking counts! i also walk a lot wt DH and usually count in here 1/2 of the time i spend walking emoticon

hehehehe.

Thats the best kind of cardio around! Too bad SP doesn't count it! (I *think* fitday does, but I'm not certain, you could always google it!)

Anyhow, I tried to be good yesterday - was traveling to meet son's extended family who was picking him up for visitation, made good food choices though. Didn't get any cardio (not even the "newlywed" kind), but DID walk all over downtown Seattle, Fremont, and Ballard with the not-exactly-my-boyfriend boy for the better part of 7 hours. I consider yesterday a success.

I'm feeling good about today. I'm going to meet with my sponsor this morning and then head downtown to check out some horrorfilm soundtrack LPs and back up to campus to work it out.

I stayed within my calories, but not with healthy food, I need to work on that. Also, I went yesterday and today to the gym, for a total burnt of 900 calories!

Waist: 28.5"
Hips: 35
Thigh: 23.5

Lets see.
I will:
- Make sure to log EVERYTHING I EAT and maintain my range
- Work out 4x/week for at least 45 minutes
- Start to utilize weight machines, even though I'm usually the only one with ovaries in a 3-room radius...
- Make sure I adequately hydrate myself before/during/after workouts
- Stretch adequately

PS: I just bought my bikini today. Doesn't look too horrible, but I know it'll look even better in two months!

Waist: 31.25 inches

My plan:

- Stay in my calorie range (1200-1550) every day
- Work out 45 minutes 5 days/week (or do 25 miles)
- Drink 10 cups of water per day

GW (in 2 months) 57 kg (125.7 lbs)- pretty hard to make there though

Measurements as of Apr 3

Waist: 76 cm (29.9 inch)
Hips : 88 cm (34.6 inch)
Thigh: 55 cm (21.6 inch)

my plan:
* don't go under 1200 cal EVER! eat 1500 cal once a week;
* walk daily at least 30 min; if it rains, 15 min stepper
* work out more wt the weights

Hello Bees! How are you doing?

I just realized, maybe because I'm desperate with the horrid weather we're having here lately, that there's light at the end of the tunnel. Next Saturday we'll be exactly two months away from Summer.

And I thought... for many -most- students Summer is such a big thing. We became College Students after summer, some will be graduated by Summer, and all will try to make the most of Summer.

So, I thought we could, during this week, post here where we are and where we want to get in this two months, and how are we going to do it.

Then, from Saturday until Summer comes, just check in and see if we're keeping the good habits we planned to have, and if we're seeing results...

And at the end, compare where we were and where we are.

Nothing complicated, no points involved, no mandatory check in, no competition, no nothing. Just to see if this can help motivate us.

(Remember, post about yourself as much or as little as you want, don't take me as a guide if you don't want to!)


Xietaxieta:

SW: 140lbs
GW: 125lbs
Waist (narrowest): 71.5 cm
Hips (muffin tops): 94 cm
Thigh (widest): 61 cm

My plan:
