Did you know that Southern Alberta has been flooded and people are losing their home.. myself included?
If any of you have been watching the news and seen what's going on in Southern Alberta, I wanted to let everyone know that Greg and I are ok.. we lost a lot but we have each other.
To those who have no idea of what's going on.. there has been some major flooding in Calgary and southern Alberta. Unfortunately, we got caught in it. Greg and I got lucky, we got our trailer out in time so we now have a place to sleep but we basically lost everything else. Our lot is now a raging river. So as our stuff went sailing down the river, so did my diet. I haven't been hungry and I've been working with Greg trying to salvage at least a little of our stuff. WE have friends who lost everything. I try not to ask for much but I'm asking now.. please if you can, donate to your local flood relief.. and if you can't please pray for everyone here.. we need the hope and love to be able to carry on.
** Change is like walking an uphill, rocky road: you will stumble, you will fall. You may even roll downhill a bit. You will be tempted to stay down. You'll ask yourself "why bother"? But, if you pick yourself up and just keep pushing forward, eventually you'll get to the top and have a beautiful view! **
