Here's some links on holiday and ordinary houseplants and comparing toxicity. I have a ficus in my bedroom that my poodles never touched, but Tara, who's not much of a plant nibbler, did try it a couple of times despite me shooing her away. Now I see it's mildly toxic, though thankfully I didn't find barf... www.petplace.com/dogs/fall-and-winter-holi

Oh, that is a terrible thing for that little Poodle to go through! We are glad he is ok!
Ginger is so finicky that she wouldn't pickup anything like that. I am glad!
It's going to be a Poodly day for Ginger and Mom!

This is the very reason that I am right "up in April's grill" as the kids say, when we go out. I also have to check her little hidey hole house every day too because she believes if it's on the floor it belongs to her. She tries to act nonchalant when she has picked up something on the floor and she is walking as quickly as possible to take it and hid it under her toys. But I can tell from the set of her shoulders that she has something that she KNOWS she can't have LOL.

She is just all aquiver when I pick that house up every night to take all the toys out and find her stash. I show her what I've found and I say "Ahhmmm!!! you can't have that! Then she gets all ashamed looking, but it doesn't deter the next day LOL

Poor baby. When you consider Senator's size, it could have been dangerous. They will get into all kinds of things, won't they.

Bright Blessings

Today's Washington Post had an article about an urban poodle named Senator who found and ate some not-so-good stuff... www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/arti
