Thanks Mary! I filled out the form to get one. You know, anything could happen! There could be a fire or anything, so it is a good thing to have. I live in Hurricane alley, too! But then, I usually leave home before it is suppose to hit, or these Tropical Storms which I will usually just hunker down! Anway, the sticker is a good idea, but I think I need two one for the front door and one for the back door. I am like you and Patsy, just get my baby out first!!
Success is a journey, not a destination. Focus on the process.

Thanks you two! We're not actually in a prone area. The most we worry about is Power outages from an ice storm in the winter and thats not to often. I am always prepared though. I already have a sticker on my door and instructions to the neighbors. In case of a fire get my dog out. If I'm home still get the dog first. I will worry about me!(Course they thought I was nuts!) Thanks Patsy and chloe
If you want to succeed. Be like a duck; Above the surface, serene & calm, But below the surface,Paddle Like Crazy
The link below is information from the ASPCA on being ready to evacuate your pets along with youself and have a plan in place on where to take them. Also, you can send off for a free sticker to put in your window notifying rescue squads in case of fire, etc., that there are pets on the primises.
