I would think canned salmon would be good too. But I would change the eggs to just the yolks. It is my understanding that whites aren't good for dogs. Either way, Maggie would love any of it. hahhahahaha

Thanks for the recipe, Deb. It has lots of Tara's favorite foods. But I try to feed her mostly kibble to help clean her teeth, with slight add-ins. BTW, some fats are good for poodle fur, though admittedly too much of any good thing can cause digestive upset in most dogs.

This recipe taken from Dog Food SECRETS www.tinyurl.com/terrier-tuna Terrier Tuna, Egg & Cheese Supreme Ingredients Calories 1 can flaked tuna in oil, undrained 339 2 eggs 148 1 c. whole meal breadcrumbs 480 1/4 c. grated cheese 75 TOTAL 1042 Instructions 1) Scramble eggs over low heat. 2) Add tuna in oil and breadcrumbs and stir together. 3) Melt cheese over mixture. 4) Serve cooled.
