hello and welcome to the club. my mother and i have had a few poodles two were American champion and the second one went on to become Canadian champion. they were mother and son, grand daughter was not a show dog but a lover. when i was yuong we also had two females that were pecapoo's and welch corcges mix they were miniture size. they passed on to doggie heaven, they were all loving, sweet, but pretective of my mother and grandmother an I.
i guess i get to join the toy poodle club too.. just took in a white toy.. poor thing. cute as a button. but his tail was docked too short so he only has one digit so the we have the Hair make it look like he has a poof.. oh and one of his equipment thingies didnt descend but that didnt stop him from having a litter of 5 chipoo's with the person whom we got him from Chi. lol talk about spoiled brat. he bosses our big poodles around.. he has taken posession of my hubby. i am second best when hubby isnt around. but he has the sweetest personality for our home is his 3rd one.
I didn't tell you about my Ginger. She is an Apricot Toy Poodle and she weighs in at 5.3 pounds. She is very short, don't know exactly how tall, I think about 6 inches tall. She was a dark aprictot when she was a pup but she has lightened up to almost a champagne color. She is very spoiled and she is my baby. Welcome Again, Cactusflower & Ginger, Too!
Success is a journey, not a destination. Focus on the process.
I LOVE MY TWO GIRLS, BELLA & KATIE! **************** I LOVE MY POODLE GIRL, GINGER! *************

to you and your pups! Now I have a rescue doodle (probably poodle shih tzu mix), who's 2 or 3, about a foot high and 14 lbs. My previous poodles (some rescues as well) were about the same size (small miniatures), one of whom had a toy pup (5.5 lbs) who I kept until she died 18 months ago (at 2.5 years). I'm sure you'll find this group fun and funny!
Howdy and Welcome! We hope you enjoy it here and get to know us and our poodles. As you may have seen on another thread, our poodles have a lot to say on their own!
Our Maggie is 3 years old, 10" tall and 13 pounds - technically I guess it makes her a small mini but all her paper say toy. She an apricot/red and smart as a whip - but then I am definitely biased! :-)
