My personal goals are to keep my vision, to be able to stand and walk again.to be able to do the things I enjoy and to be independent.

These are the steps I want to take daily to be more healthy:
- Eat the evening meal at or before 6 pm
- Not eat after 8 pm (except 1 fruit + 2 Ts yoghurt if I want to)
- Have a maximum of 3 bites of sugary foods 3x per week, be sugar free the other days
- maximum of 3 slices of bread per day
- Exercise 30 minutes per day
- Have vegatables (salad, green smoothie, or soup) for lunch.
- Go to bed on time.

My long term goal is to overcome my binge eating. My daily goals are to walk or workout, eat as healthy as possible, and avoid my triggers, especially sweets. ( Exceptions: the Kashi bars and almond pudding, and sweets on special occasions or events). Thank you for this team! emoticon

My personal goal is to start eating healthy, KEEP eating healthy, get strong, STAY strong. I've lost a lot of my strength the past couple of years because......well, I'll admit it, I've been lazy. I'm now 54 years old and I realize I need to make a lifestyle change, if I want a healthier second half of my life. I've not eaten the way I should for a long time now, so it's going to take some time to get myself retrained to think EAT HEALTHY.

I need to shrink my stomach...

To keep moving and not sit too much.
Gain flexibility.
Get used to eating much less sugar, processed foods, and eat slowly.
Hike, snow shoe, and possibly cross country ski if I can get strong enough.

Some of my goals:

emoticon Eat healthier, staying in my range (overage allowed on high calorie burn days see next goal)
emoticon drink more water. My h2O percentage is low
emoticon maintaining close to a -500 differential on my calories daily
emoticon emoticon emoticon FItness minues in some form almost daily (I usually take Fridays off)

The fruit and veggie goal is not a problem for me. Getting more than 6 hours of sleep a night is and that needs to change. I am dragging and need to get more!

My goal is to meet my caloric goal set by SparkPeople 7 days a week. If I meet my goals, I won't have to be afraid of the scale during Monday's weekly weigh-in. I have 10 more lbs to lose to meet my 20% loss goal. My goal date for this accomplishment is March 25th.

My long term goal is to take a family portrait with my children on my 36th birthday. I would like to take a picture and like the way we look, so consistent, steady loss would be fantastic.

I am part of a Biggest Loser contest at work. I want to win this competition. Final weigh in is May 8th. My goal is to lose 12-15 lbs by then.

I also would like to get better control of my finances. I tend to hit the grocery store several times a week and buy more than I should. We eat a lot of fresh fruit and veggies so this requires more trips, but I hope to plan better to only get to the store once for a major trip and maybe mid-week for more fruit and veggies. I need all the support and encouragement on this one for sure!

Hello Team!!

It's a rather warm day today. I was hoping for a bit of snow-- but I guess with this crazy weather, that might not happen this year! I took my dogs to the dog park today. No one else was there, so we only stayed for a little while.

I joined SP a few years ago, and have been off and on with the website. My personal goal for this next week (as I have found I personally can only follow short term goals and not long term!) is to track everything that I eat. Good or bad, I will track everything! (I know... I tend to overlook those extra cookies I eat and not track them) It is time for me to get serious about my lifestyle habits-- I graduate from college this spring and I want to start this next phase of my life with energy and a healthy body!

Hi team. It's another rainy, dreary day here in PA. Could be worse, could be snow, which is what they are saying for Friday and the weekend. Not much at this point, just snow showers, but it will be cold with highs in the low 30s.

I tried again and was on the phone for over an hour with Verizon still trying to get DSL hooked up. We got the program downloaded onto my netbook, which is not the one I want it on, but it still won't let me go into any site except the Verizon sign up page. They're still working on it. Very frustrating.

If I could have weighed in first thing this morning at TOPS I think I would have made my goal. My scale weighed me exactly at goal. Hoping the scale is just as kind when I weigh in this evening.

If I make that, then my SP goal is only 2 more pounds.
