We had a party Friday night. I did enjoy many of the dishes, mostly Italian. I was tempted by the roll, so I ate half of it.

Had decadent birthday cake and a wonderful raclette to celebrate my daughter's birthday. I am learning that this does not mean all bets are off but just that I enjoyed a special weekend.

Fried foods don't tempt me much unless they are salty. I am always weak for carbs, but do well unless I eat them. Then I want more!

fried foods huh...i know that craving..one of my favorite foods are french fries, what i do now that im in a healthy lifestyle i make them in the oven, they taste almost the same and oil free! yeah! good luck this week!

I fell hard last night, but today am back on track avoiding those bad carbs! Getting the sleep is important, but difficult since I am still sick and the coughing wakes me up. Thanks for the support Kathy!

you can do it, start off by getting your 8 hours sleep once you wake up refreshed you can make better choices make sure to eat breakfast and snacks in between to avoid hunger . protein and fiber will help you stay full.brocoli has alot of fiber. eggs and oatmeal have protein.

Oddly enough, it's the weather. If it is too ukky, I won't want to do anything. It is doesn't rain, it's not too cold to get out, then my mood will be better. I have a tendency to just be a couch potato if the weather isn't nice.

Believe it or not, I have no plans this weekend. What? Donna doesn't have anything planned? LOL. That does not happen very often. If the weather clears out we may take 2 granddaughters to around to see the lights but it's too far to go if the weather is yucky like it is right now.

I guess my weakness this weedend will be to stay away from the cookies at home.

I made through the weekend without any sweets!! No pie, as tempting as it was, at the Christmas party and I kept myself to one plate of food. I also had no cookies after the Christmas program that my granddaughter was in. Yay for me!!

as for me my weakness this weekend is going to be eating healthy, this evening i have a birthday party to go to, its a pizza party at that. so i will allow myself one slice and thats it, i wont eat any cake or soda.

bring a water bottle with you and sip every time you feel tempted, also wear a rubberband around your wrist ( preferably the one you eat with) every time you feel tempted snapp it, this will remind you that you dont want to get off track

My whole weekend is going to be a challenge. This weekend, I am headed to my parents for a weekend full of festivities. We are celebrating my sisters' birthdays and Christmas all in the same weekend, so there will be plenty of food. Plus, the holiday festivities start at work as soon as I get back from the weekend, so it could be a disaster. I've tried to reflect on what I can do to survive the weekend without putting on any weight on my blog, but any suggestions are more than welcome.

Right now, customers keep bringing in things to eat. We have cookies and just this morning someone brought in home cooked potato chips. I'm fighting to resist them.

Tonight I have a Christmas party and Sunday a granddaughter has a concert that we are attending but we will meet at a restraunt to eat before it. That I can control, but the party tonight, I have trouble when there's lots of differnt foods to eat.
