Hi, just that upon waking up eat a piece of fruit, after have your breakfast with about 200-300 calories of whole grains & a glass of milk. Lunch is lean protein & about 2 cups of veggies, mid snack a piece of fruit, Dinner is a repeat of lunch.
Since this I've been sleeping better & have lost a pound a day (probably water but I'll take it!) You also need to stick to your workouts lift weights 3-4 times a week & a good sweat for 30 min. 3 times a week!

Hello everyone, it's day 1 on the suzanne summers diet for people over 35. Not too shabby & doable, giving it a whirl, thinking my new weigh in should be Friday. Have been excersizing (pushing that tush) regardless, today I did my weights & some stretching. I also just walked our dog Marley around the block! so as they say:- emoticon

Hey Kathy, I've been okay. I've had lots going on and it will only get worse over the next month with the holidays. Thankfully I'll have some time off work though.

Weekends are usually my "weakends". :o) I also do pretty good during the week. Any challenge to help stay accountable is welcomed!

I just want to welcome the new members and Hi!!! team and I want to thank Kathy so much to come out with good challenges for each weekend it has help me during the weekends to stay accountable and healthy because usually on the weekends I mess up big time I do good thru weekdays and do good but weekends I can forget it but since joining this team it help me to stay healthy on the weekends so thank you again our group leader for your challenges to us for each weekends. An after Thanksgiving challenge sounds good to me! Only problem for me is that I'm cooking Thanksgiving dinner on Sat. But Sunday I'll need to get right back on track and not overdo it too much on Sat.

Does any one have any ideas that they would like to incorporate for this weekend coming up 11/25-11/26? Any challenge ideas? I was thinking because this thursday is thanksgiving we can do a loose your turkey challenge, i created one of these for one of my other teams, but it is a two week challenge. i thought maybe we can do this for next weekend challenge? but of course it would only be a 2 day challenge( saturday 11-25 and sunday 11-26) given that we will all be needing it after the thanksgiving feast. lol.
What do you all think?

try to plan your meals . when you know what your going to eat its less tempting to sneak in extra snacks. plan out healthy breakfast, lunch and dinner. you can do it.

I am feeling very low but eating wise not too bad, I am mostly on my own at weekends and I also eat alone which does not help but I am trying to keep busy and not think about food.

Have been Sparking for a few months now and it is getting easier to control the binge eating.
I would often eat when I was thirsty. Now if I think I am hungry I reach for the water bottle first.
After the thirst has been quenched I will then deal with the hunger if it is still there or time for a meal.

Hi all
Although I had a good Saturday Sunday was not so good, I felt so depressed on Sunday evening and I usually turn to food but did not do to bad in the end. I weighed myself and I stayed the same this week.

Today I managed to do a short walk of 15 minutes, my body is still aching from stressing with all the scrubbing yesterday. Wondering how my weigh in will be tomorrow.

great job ladies! me this weekend was exhausting I guess we can count running after my 2yr. old as excercise. yesterday 2 hrs. at the park and 2 at chuck e cheese. today all. day cleaning doing laundry and half an hr at the park.I'm tired.

Well I've done well with activity today, worked at the church scrubbing & cleaning for 2.5 hours, then came home & scrubbed our house, by joints are yelling at me right about now. Heading to get some supper, Kenny wants seafood, then home later to work on mountain of laundry & relax.

HI things are going well and today I have stuck to my diet and been for a walk (13,586 steps) and I have only had one bottle of diet coke instead I have drunk more water.
I know it has been said before but the trick is keeping busy.

Sorry about joining so late...But, I am here and looking forward to getting started with spark..I signed up a while back but haven't been using it. I had decided to have lap band surgery but really don't want to go that route. So, this is me avoiding that route..I plan to walk tomorrow in the am, a little over two miles, and yes part of it is uphill. I want to chat with this part every day but I am not sure how to do it. I wish you all luck for this weekend and will talk to you tomorrow.

With looking after the kids and doing house chores on a weekend its always difficult to sneak in some exercise since I've been workin ovatime this whole week. Will try to walk for 30 mins sunday and monday. Thats my goal.
