Wow, I accidentally started my own thread and can't believe the response I have gotten. Thank you so much for the warm welcome. Thank you for the advise too. Hope you are all having a great week! So far so good. Yesterday, even though I didn't go over my calories I noticed how many calories I had in just tortilla chips alone. I will not make that mistake again. I need to replace those empty calories with healthy one. Terri

Google alcohol beverage calories and print off a list of drinks....take it with you...
The best way to have a drink with friends and not over do it is to make that drink last a long time.......you can even sit there with a glass half full and pretend to sip it.....only you know and the funny part about this is a lot of your friends are probably doing the same thing...Drinking water works as well.
Same thing for food, google the restaurant and check nutritional values, if the restaurant isn't there, check the calories for a similar food......you'll be handy...
Watch your calories during the day and don't worry about it.
Best of all pigging out once a week won't do us in but actually allows your body to know you are not neglecting it.......

Most of all don't freak when you blow it.......worrying just gives you wrinkles :)

Hi, my name is Terri and I am kinda new to SP. I have been pretty faithful to this site going on 2 weeks now. Something just clicked. I was referred to this team from another member, because I do great during the week and as soon as the weekend comes I tend to justify why it is OK to order whatever I want on the menu when we go to dinner with friends. We love to go out to dinner and drinks with friends and it is so hard to really know how many calories you are consuming. Anyway, I am looking forward meeting all of you and look forward to the helpful ideas that may have worked for you. Terri
