No hole. The window was just pushed up & the aircon sat in it balanced on a frame outside. I hav just closed the window now until I can afford a replacement now.

Here is one that we can all have a hearty belly laugh over.

A couple of weeks ago I pushed my old aircon out of the lounge room window because it no longer worked & I wanted the window freed up for a replacement aircon. I ended up leaving the discarded one just sitting where it landed as I had not the time to arrange for someone to collect it & take it to the garbage dump.

It sat there happily waiting for me to do something about it & kept seeing it, thinking that I must get around to having it removed.

Well, this morning I went out to mow the front lawn & suddenly realized that the aircon was gone. Out of curiosity, I asked my friendly neighbour if she had made arrangements for it to be taken away and, as I suspected, the answer was no.

So someone has obviously decided to help themselves to it...... of course, not realizing they were stealing a dud. I was stunned that they took it but I have to thank them for relieving me of a task I was not looking forward to......... PAYING someone to remove it.

Thank you thieves........ I hope you thoroughly enjoy my broken & worn out aircon. OH ...... I forgot to mention........ it is irrepairable due to it be so old & having a compressor that has CFC's in it.
