That sounds good Melissa. I walked 3.5 miles today, the first day back from my trip. It felt so good to walk. We walked while on our trip but not that far.
I want to continue with walking daily as my challenge.

I am hanging in there with all the basics. Next week I am adding in the trackers. I find I don't eat enough when I don't use the trackers and that isn't good, so I am adding that into the back to basics for next week!

have a great trip joann. I am in and out of town frequently with work. Between work, traveling and home, I stay busy. I have worked the treadmill back into my routine this week for a change. So with water aerobics and treadmill, ST training and really making sure I drink 10 glasses of water today, I am thinking in a couple of weeks I will see a boost in results! Why have you been stuck inside Heather? I hope you can get out and enjoy sunshine soon! How is it going with the water?

I walked 3 miles yesterday and 3.5 miles today. I will be going out of town for a couple of weeks and will get on SP when I can. Good luck and I'll be walking as much as possible.

The more gardening, the more water drinking too! I've been stuck inside this week and it's hard to keep guzzling water when you aren't expending any energy. I'm going to get outside today and try to get a jump on next week!

I have been busy doing things around the house and yard but I walked for 30 min. yesterday. Gardening is good exercise and I've been doing some gardening this week end.
You are so right about forming good habits. I feel bad now if I don't walk for at least 30 min.

I understand busy! I have to track everything in my planner because I don't always get to track it on SP for several days and I won't remember what I ate or drank unless I write it down. I am going for water and basic cardio and ST all next week. I figure just staying in habit will help me to get into it more in the next few weeks. Creating the habit is tough once I get out of it!!! ugh! LOL

Whoops - looks like I missed posting :)

Water:
9/14 64 oz
9/13 64 oz
9/12 64 oz
9/11 56 oz Yikes!
9/10 48 oz (hiding in a corner)!

I would like to average 9-10 glasses a day, and no excuses here, but I've had a heavy workload this week and I've resorted to wine at the end of my day instead of water (slap me, I'll be better!)
Let's shoot for 9 a day next week!

That is fantastic! You are doing great! I have made it to my water aerobics and also been doing strength training. Also, I have drank 10 glasses of water every day!

I am going to track my water and cardio this week. So far I have drank 10 glasses of water Monday and Tuesday. I had a 55 min aerobic class Monday and another one tomorrow morning. I am going to start with your exercises tomorrow and see keep it up for the rest of the week.

Hi Melisat,
I am about to take part in another 5% challenge and
I needed some incentive to get me started so....
my friend has challenged me aim to do these 5 exercises each day , 25 jumping jacks, 25 crunches, 25 side abductions, 25 stability bridges, 25 push ups.

Total time involved believe it or not is 10-15 minutes.
Anybody want to join me?
