My eyes aren't bothered ALL the time by eyeliner, but they are definitely sensitive and burn/get watery from certain kinds. I seem to do perfectly fine with liquid on top (which lasts the longest on me, even if it isn't waterproof) and a twist-up pencil on bottom. I'm actually using Jordana brand products from Walgreens, which are VERY inexpensive. My liquid liner was only $3 and I use a glittery black liner for a little less than that. Surprisingly the glitter doesn't really irritate my eyes. I've tried some more expensive brands from Sephora or department stores that did bother my eyes. I believe the worst by far was one by Urban Decay... too bad because it looked really nice! It was in pencil form.. the kind you have to sharpen. I also seem to have the worst luck with those! I really wanted to try one of those "liquid pencil" kinds, but I heard some (like Milani, which I heard looks really awesome, goes on smooth, and stays on super well though) are often irritating.

Yeah, it's pretty much all eyeliners, mostly the eye pencils that I use.

Thanks for the advice, I'll check into all of those. emoticon

My answer depends on a few factors: Are your eyes watering because they're sensitive and all eyeliner makes them water? Or, are your eyes watering because of a specific eyeliner? I'll try to answer both scenarios...
If all eyeliner makes your eyes water, I would try a waterproof formula. Makeup Forever aqualiners and Kat Von D Tattoo liners are good WP formulas in my opinion. I know that a lot of people like Urban Decay 24/7 liner, but it doesn't work for me-however, it may work for you. Although not waterproof, Bobbi Brown gel liner applied with an angled brush works very well on me.
If you are looking for an eyeliner for sensitive eyes look for one that says it's safe for contacts or hypoallergenic. Almay, Clinique and Physician's Formula should have hypoallergenic eyeliners. Also, avoid any liners with glitter.
Lastly, if your eyes are sensitive avoid tightlining or wearing liner on your waterline. If your eyes water a lot and are easily irritated, have your Dr. check to see if you have dry eye. I have dry eye and needed special eye drops. I really hope this helps! Good luck!

Hey everyone, I'm new. This looks like a really cool team, and I have a lot of beauty and makeup questions actually, so this looks like the place to go to on Spark. My question is about eyeliner, my eyes water everytime I wear it, and it's so annoying. Do they have eyeliner for sensitive eyes at all, or would just waterproof be the way to go?
