I just got a great little piece of advice. You know it's like $500 to have your teeth whitened, right? Most of that cost has to do with the dentist making a mouth piece that is custom fit to your teeth. So, I know this woman that use to work in a dentist office, and she told me how to do it for next to nothing. 1. Buy a mouth guard that football players use from the sporting goods store. 2. Snip that piece that attaches the mouth guard to the helmet. 3. Put the mouth guard (plastic) into a coffee mug with water and then put that in the microwave. 4. Microwave it for a minute. 5. When it's done, take the mouth guard out of the water and fit it to your teeth. Suck air into your mouth to help fit the mouth guard to your teeth. That suction will help it fit better. 6. Here's the link for a really good whitening gel and you can also order make at home whitening trays where you impress your teeth into this putty stuff and mail it back to the company. They then make molds of your teeth impressions and send you the trays. That's $50 though and more time consuming. Here's the link to the whitening gel. http://sale.dentist.net/products/nitewhi te-acp-bleaching-gel 7. Don't drink red wine or coffee for a week. (But, if you absolutely have to have coffee, like me, just drink it through a straw for a week).
