Joan, this is an excellent post. Keep looking for that one strand...that one aha moment when we realize we are more than the food we crave. We are a child of the King, and we are Royalty...we are so worth getting healthy as our body is a temple for God. So as a Princess I will delight in who I am and celebrate me..not food.!

To be a musician is really something. It goes very, very deep. My music is the spiritual expression of what I am--my faith, my knowledge, my being." by John Coltrane

Joan just like with the lights you didn't give up. You can't and won't give up on you either. So take this one day at a time. If you get two good days this week just week may be three....take each victory and move forward. I have had two whole great days. Take patience and a lot of self talk at this stage but it is working.

Great job Joan. Keep at it one day at time and Never quit. Do not give up ever, just keep going and you will succeed. That is what I tell myself too. Enjoy the weekend and stay on track and keep moving. We CAN DO IT!!

I have been fighting the Christmas light in our courtyard now for two weeks. Got them all up, just like I did last year plugged them in....just like last year.....bam they all go out. So now to find which one it is. I have like 10 strands of lights out there. It seemed to always be just one strand, even when I would open up a brand new box and put them up, it was always the very first strand that is plugged into the timer that was blowing, and then made all the lights go out. AS I said nearly everyday I was out there working on those things. Now how is this like my Weight Watchers' journey??????
Everyday I work on the journey, sometimes over thinking it, and many days when I think I'm all plugged in.....I blow it.....But just like with those Dang Gum lights I keep trying every single to get plugged in and stay lit.
Well yesterday, I found my light blowing problem.....this year I got lights for the Box Wood hedge, never had those last year or the year before. When I plugged those up to the other lights, that is what was blowing the fuse always on the first strand. I found the problem, I never gave up, just like I blow it several days a week, but I DO NOT give up. I will keep looking for that ''strand" that keeps me blowing my weight loss journey.
