I've been using Kosher salt more often (when I use salt at all) and didn't know that. Thank you!
(Alton Brown rocks...one of the few things I miss about not having cable!)

I have been using Kosher salt for a long time (thanks Alton Brown!) but I just learned this today!
Kosher Salt weighs 1/2 of table salt so if a recipe calls for 1 tsp salt then you have to double the amount of Kosher salt to 2 tsp
