Besides surgery, I didn't think there was anything that you could do about your chin.

Yeah, the only thing I can find, other than weightloss which helps a bit, is surgery. Altho it isn't supposed to be horribly expensive or involved, pretty simple, I know how it is~~~when you can't afford it you can't afford it. I'd say though, that after weightloss your chin should look better and may look similar to what it was like when you were younger; if it wasn't a big problem before, it shouldn't be a big problem when you reach your weight goal.

In the past, I have seen things for firming up your chin but never paid much attention to them. Will have to see if they can be found.
Have you tried liiking in the SP Article database? Or Googling it?

Water is very important for us. We may, and I do, require more than the 8 glasses a day. The link goes to a water calculator I use to see what I need for my current weight. Mt requirement has dropped 9 ounces due to weight loss. Yipee!

There is really no such thing as spot training.

Some people have double chins, for the same reason some people have big butts, or big hips, or big breast. Etc.

The only thing you can do, in any of the above cases-double chin, big butt, big hips, big breast.

Is do your best to get to a healthy weight. Then you may still have a bigger neck then others.

I know for me, it's breast, and cheeks. I have really fat cheeks. It runs in my family, same with the breast.

However, when I was 100 lbs more then what I am now, I could fill my cheeks with as much air as I could, and you wouldn't be able to till the difference, they looked the same with or with out air! lol That's how fat they were.

Now with 100 lbs less, my cheeks are still pudgy, but at least when I fill them with air you can tell the difference! lol

So the more weight you lose ALL over, the less neck problems you will have. But, it could be that you will always have a little bigger neck then most.

Just like I have a "short" neck and boy with 100 lbs more the double chins were more like quad chins! lol Now I can wear a turtle neck and look normal! lol

Does "the chin" run in your family? Cuz, if it does....well, you know how hard it is to fight your genes! The New System will cure it for sure. But I looked at your pictures and you look adorable. Your chin doesn't look terrible to me. But I understand your feelings, I have a few things about myself that I hate too!

I'm going to think on this a bit, see if I can figure anything out, and I'll check back later. Maybe some of the other sisters will have some suggestions.

Talk to you soon!

Hello everyone!

I hope you are all having a good evening and that your weekend goes well. Its the last couple days of our campaign and was wondering how everyone was doing? Our elders asked that we all try to make it out to blast out the last of our territory. Go single to the doors. I hope that we are able to make it out, my DH said he would but I have 2 little ones to think about and we are supposed to be hit with some sever thunderstorms, so we may see how long we can make it out or if our weather is too bad then i think my DH will be the only one to go out. I cant risk my lil ones getting sick again. especially my youngest, but that's another story!!!!!

So, to my question. I have this stubborn double chin that i would love to see go away. i know that part of it is just the way i am, but the other part i know has to be because i am over weight. i see so many women that are big but have no double chin, why is this and how can i do that? i dont want my chin waddling to my chest when i have the power to change it(if i do) and was wondering if there is anyone out there that can help me to... maybe tighten it or loose it or what have you... please! it really does impact me and the way i feel about myself and the way i feel when i go to the meetings and field service. i feel so self conscience about it. i could be a heavy girl but with this chin... well.... anyway, i guess you can tell it really does affect me!

So, if anyone has any suggestions (other than surgery which i cannot afford since we cannot even afford medical insurance) i would be ever grateful!!!

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!!!

Much love!

Take Small Steps.
