I am looking for low sodium Salsa too. IronBess and DonnaLee would you share some of the recipes? emoticon

There is a Trader Joe's near me but I have noticed they have had a bunch of foods recalled in the last two years so I am wary of going there now.

No Trader Joe's here in the boonies. It's 30 miles to the grocery store. Appreciate the tip though as I do get to the big city now and then and will look for their salsa next time I go. In the meantime, I googled "blender salsa recipe" and founds lots that look very easy. So maybe I will make it. Might try freezing some extra.

Where did you find the recipe? Home made preservative free salsa would go over quite well at our next work party.

There was much rejoicing!

I was shocked when I saw how much sodium is in La Victoria Thick n Chunky Medium. I suppose anything with tomato should be suspect, but 210 mg sodium in 2 tbsp?! If you know of any mainstream brands that are low sodium, I'd like to hear about them. I could make my own but don't want to if I don't have to.
