I have added more fruits and veggies to my diet. Also added more grains and brown rice replaces white rice in my diet. I log in my foods and try to exercise 4-6 times a week. Keeping a positive attitude and being patient is very helpful as well.

All my best,
Shannon

I watch and record everything I eat, exercise daily and try not to sit around too much. I am up and down all day rather than sitting in a chair reading or crocheting, try to limit my sitting time. The house looks better, too.

I thank the good Lord for my treadmill at home and my kindle to read while on it!!!
Since my mothers health is failing I need to be here at home with her most of the time.
I can barely get out 3 one hour sessions a week to do aqua aerobics but so far I can and love it.
I CAN concentrate on eating organic plant based diet, which I love emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

In GOD We Trust Choose To Lose
"If you are going to win any battle you have to do one thing. You have to make the mind run the body. Never let the body let the body tell the mind what to do. The body will always give up. It is always tired in the morning, noon and night. But the body is never tired if the mind is not tired."

What steps are you taking to reach your healthy goals?

For me, it's not so much my weight as it is my over all fitness. I don't think my weight would be so much of an issue if I were more active. I'm working towards getting in more exercise to tone and strengthen and maybe over time that'll improve my weight too. Right now I just want to be as healthy as I can be, regardless of the issues I have with my weight.
