I won't be doing it but for 10 days, then I'll add back fish , eggs, and dairy. But I'll be giving up most red meats. I'd read the Engine 2 Diet book but I think I'm going to have to read it a second time. Were you wanting me to come back as co-leader? I haven't gotten anything in spark mail asking me to accept it, so I wondered if you didn't want the help. Just let me know.

I did a double take as the is a auto muffler service chain here called Dan Fast mufflers.
I have heard of the Daniel diet. Someone at work tried this last year and was somewhat successful. I'm doing the Engine 2 diet. Basically elimination of animal proteins, and avoiding processed foods and processed fats. Tough to do this plan - or any plan for that matter - when I'm the onlyone in the household doing this. I was already lacto-ovo vegetarian, but the hard part is giving up the cheese. You're supposed to get rid of the food on the "no no" list, but that would not go over well with the rest of the family. Add to it me being a stress eater, makes it all the more difficult, but it is what it is. But I am well stocked with things that are approved E2 (eg whole grain everything) and I'm good. Usually.
I won't go completely vegan either as that includes not using animal products or animal produced products (silk, wool, honey, etc) so I'm told. So I'll just say I'm vegetarian and leave it at that.

Good Morning Team. Hope everyone is having a nice start to the day. Here, it's still pouring rain thanks to Debbie but it is supposed to taper off and by the weekend be only 30 % rain. But temps will be in the upper 90's. Starting the 1st of July I plan to do the Daniel Fast for 10 days. For those that don't know what that is; it's eating nothing but veggies and fruits, with no sauces, etc., and only drinking water. The only change I'm making to it is that I'll have my 2 cups of black coffee each morning. It's considered a cleansing diet, to help clear out impurities in your system. I just figured it'd be a jumpstart to helping me get into the vegan diet a little more fully. I'll never go completely vegan since I eat fish and I'll still eat eggs, etc., but for the 10 days it'll just be fruits and veggies. I'll let you know how it does.

Renewing again a call for anyone willing to step up to be co-leader. Fortunately I am on another roll having discovered the Droid operating system and how well it works. You'll have forgive any spelling issues as I seem to be all thumbs when it comes to typing on this thing.
Anyway, it's always helpful on teams to have at least 2-3 leaders. Two or more heads are better than one.
