I got my 8 in for Thursday & Friday. And yes I'm starting to use Crystal Light to help me get there, but I still try to use more water.

Fluid is fluid and we do get alot of water and fluids from various drinks and even our food intake. However, our kidneys work harder to filter things with caffiene in them, especially sodas and coffee.

Decaf coffee and teas are the best, if you have to have something other than water. I drink some of this and I mix Crystal light with water, to kick it up a notch, as I must admit water is boring at times. So you can count all liquid, though water is great about helping clense the toxins and fat out of our cells.

The choice is yours, just stay hydrated, as it is easy to forget to drink as much when you have colder weather and are the heat and thirst are lacking.

so it appears you are counting all liquids? i drink a lot of tea both caff and decaff and some coffee..maybe three glasses of water along with this. hard to drink when not thirsty...

emoticon Remembering to drink water when I don't feel thirsty has been a problem. I think I have it solved. First thing in the morning I fill a pitcher holding 8 glasses with water and leave it sitting on the counter. I cam see the level go down and it reminds me that I need to drink a glass. Sometimes I use that water to make a cup of tea. By evening, the pitcher is usually empty. emoticon

I don't drink just water very much, sometimes I do but not often. But I've researched it some, and studies have shown that fluid intake is fluid intake..whether it is coffee, tea, soda, soup, etc. I drink decaff tea constantly, however.

This is an easy one for me as I usually drink anywhere from 8 to 12 glasses or more a day. If I get bored with regular water, I sometimes add in some Crystal Light, though mainly regular water.

Happy TGIF to all!

We remember to drink our daily water when it is warm outside, but we often forget to drink the water and keep our bodies hydrated when it gets colder. So today's challenge is to stay hydrated by drinking a minimum of 8 glasses of water (8 ounces each) or more if you prefer.
