What I do is measure in 11 places on my body that I want to keep track of every Sunday.

Chest
Bust
Midriff
Waist
Tummy
Hips
L.Thigh
L. Calf

Total of Inches

You can pick the areas you want to keep track of and total them to get your Start Inches and subtract 5" to get your Goal Inches then each time you measure post you Current Inches. The Challenge (is really a Self Challenge) or a Challenge to see who losses 5 inches first. It's all in FUN and it helps to have a history to look back on.

I can't post minutes cause honestly I didnt watch them. There is a workout in my books for bad back and posture, this is the work out I have been doing along with a few from my back books from the dr. I cant get them done every day, maybe twice a week but I do not hurt afterwards and thats great!

The beauty of Callanetics is you can make it work for you at any level, just got to listen to your body I guess. Thanks for the system Callan!

I am so glad you found something that works for you! Looks like I am stuck in the large size of healthy catagory, I suppose that is just fine for now :)
Callanetics is a base for me, then I just add extra stuff to it so I dont get too bored :) this week is an ouchie one so plroblably will take a lot of it off....

Hi Suzy,

I haven't been on here as much as I should be. But, I am still active on SP more than I have been in the past. Usually I take a break from SP in the summer and gain weight back but, no more. Like I said in our thread 5 Pound CHALLENGE -#+ ~*~*~*~*+#

I finally found a plan that works for me and I'm down 8.8 lbs from July 1st. It's called The Fast Metabolism Diet. I love it, cause I stay full and my skin looks smoother and clearer, hair is getting thicker, nails are stronger, I sleep much better, I have a lot more energy and I have lost more weight and inches in the last 28 days than I have any month in the last 5 or more years and I have documented my weight and inches (losses and gains) almost every month of 2012 & 2013 and the 1st of every year since 2007 on my SP page so I could learn from my diets. My goal has been to be at 125 lbs but that scares me at this point so I think I will stop at maybe 145 lbs for awhile and see how I feel about that.

I'm also doing Callanetics, Weights, and Cardio. Just haven't been post that as I should. But, I have also been Relaxation/stress relief like learning yoga or deep breathing. So it has been wonderful Suzy.

I hope you have been feeling well. Your dedication to Callanetics is assume!

Some yoga can more fairly fast and is very demanding on your muscles, this was a very slow routine, the asaynas (movements) very basic, still quite a challange for me in pain management.These movements are simply getting into the position and then holding it while you breath and stretch.

Its a nice swap up for something different, but my Callanetics is still my base :)

I know I have said it before but I'm stating it again, I will do my Callanetics on Tue. and Thur. No more putting it off or depending on others to do it with me. The only one in control of my exercise is ME!

I'm walking weather permitting but I have made the mistake of waiting for my friend to show up and not done my Callanetics on my own. So, this week I will do them with or without her.

I'm glad you're joining me! I'm doing Callanetics on Tue. and Thur. for now. I may do 3 days a week once I get use to it again. Also I want to keep track of my walking here to. As you know I was trying to get started in Dec. but I didn't make it until the 28th of Jan. It was so hard to get my mind in gear.

Hey Charlie, starting a new month here I am going to post my time. Well I am just glad you are ontrack now :) I am not sure how many times a week I will get it done but aiming for 5. It just hurts a lot less then cardio.

Oh yeah, I run/walk 6 days a week both long and short ones as well as work out with weights Monday, Wednesday, Friday and a bonus Abs on Saturday. Callanetics is just a part of my workouts. Sunday is a complete rest day, the most I will do on that day is perhaps a bike ride.

This of course has built up since I re-joined SparkPeople a year ago.
Keep up the emoticon work too.

I have been doing my hour of Callanetics every Tuesday and Thursday.
So far it has been going great and I really notice a change to my hips.
