Oh my! Lol.

She was a wonderful inspiration and I have followed her from the beginning.

Like I would be with any old friend, I was simply curious.

I have not been able to find a cause of death, I think she would have wanted us celebrating her life rather than examining the situations of her death. Thats the type of lady she seemed to me.

Out of curiosity, does anyone know the cause of death?
The internet is quiet about it.

I'm grateful to you for telling us. I'm so very sad to hear that she passed away. She was a most remarkable person.

I found this online

I hope she died peacefully. She brought a lot of joy and peace to others. Her voice alone is so calm and reassuring whenever I hear it on video.

"A bear, however hard he tries, grows tubby without exercise." A.A. Milne

Thank you for posting this Suzy. SONPARI1, posted a thread the other day too.

It's like losing a dear friend to most of us. We will think of her every time we do her Callanetics and she is a great loss to the world.

Callan Pickney Passes Away
I am sorry to inform you that Callan Pinckney, creator of the Callanetics exercise method, passed away in her hometown of Savannah, Georgia on Thursday, March 1.

My first encounter with Callan was in 1992 when I initially trained to become a Callanetics Teacher. Through the years, I was fortunate enough to spend time with her and hear firsthand the tales of her adventures and her passion for the exercises she had developed.

Callan will live on through her books and videos - especially through her teachers who will carry on her work with the same pride and dedication she herself possessed.

She will be greatly missed. Rest in peace Callan.

Regards,
Pat Kline
