Callan Pickney Passes Away I am sorry to inform you that Callan Pinckney, creator of the Callanetics exercise method, passed away in her hometown of Savannah, Georgia on Thursday, March 1.
My first encounter with Callan was in 1992 when I initially trained to become a Callanetics Teacher. Through the years, I was fortunate enough to spend time with her and hear firsthand the tales of her adventures and her passion for the exercises she had developed.
Callan will live on through her books and videos - especially through her teachers who will carry on her work with the same pride and dedication she herself possessed.
She will be greatly missed. Rest in peace Callan.
Regards, Pat Kline
