Hi everyone. I apologize for not posting here more often. I don't want to leave as the administrator of this group, so I will try to post at least every 60 days so that message doesn't appear about an inactive Team Leader. I hope that everyone is feeling some sort of peace wherever they are in their journey.

I had a rough time at the end of the year but I am finally getting back on track and getting some stuff done. I have finally started focusing on what I need as well. That's the hardest part for me. I LOVE doing stuff for others and helping others but I really have a hard time asking for help or actually taking it if someone offers it.

I like the idea of a weekly check in too.
Been a pretty good week, overall. Tried VERY hard to cut out lots of sugar from my eating habits this week. Harder than I thought. I had a few slip ups - but really think I did good.

Today was an exceptionally hard day though. Two years ago today, is when I learned I had miscarried. I really just wanted to bury my head in the fridge, but tried to stay focused on the bigger picture. Going to head to bed now, so today can just be over.

I think a weekly check in is great.
I have been having a rough time lately so I hope this helps. I am always there for others but I am so good at putting myself OFF! I did great today. I got my crunches in even some extras. I used my kettle bell and it felt great. I don't understand why I do this to myself. I have done so great but this has just been a sad time lately. I finally thought I had this under control, I figured out my trigger. I even help people at church now b/c I thought that would help me and it has but I just am NOT dealing with anything good right now. I know I can get myself back out of the funk.

MOMIN09 - If you stayed in your calories for the week then you should be very proud of yourself!! Make a small goal of getting up and moving for at least 20 min everyday even if it is just sit ups in between commercials. emoticon

I actually had a pretty damn good past week and weekend! I weighed myself this morning and I am down 3.3 lbs in the past 6 days!! This is beyond incredible for me...I usually am only able to lose the most 2lbs (and normally do not) per week.
I am very happy today and motivated to get down a total of 6lbs by Christmas!

I also didn't have the best weekend for working out. I did stay in my calories for the weekend though.

I am creating a new discussion titled "Weekly Check-In" so that we have one place to come at least once a week to check in with the group.

I'd like to check in today and talk about my slip. It's only been a week and I didn't have the best weekend or Monday. emoticon BUT I did workout today and lost 2 pounds so far!! So I'm trying to be kind to myself and just cut down on the food a little tomorrow.

How did everyone else do over the weekend?
