The play is over. But after 5 weeks of rehearsals and 3 performances, my inner clock is still trying to normalize. Last night around 5p.m. I started feeling like I needed to get ready to go to the rehearsal room.

Today is a day off from teaching, so I'm just going to hang around the house in my sweats, and unwind.

The gym has my permission to carry on without me.

'Blue Hair' performance today is our final performance for the Baseball Show. Hearing lots of positive talk, and getting good media coverage.
We're getting some inquiries from people wanting to direct our next community theatre show.
Heard from a promoter in Branson who would like to bring a classic country music review here.

Doing 10- 15 minutes of stretches. Physical therapist suggested I give Tai-Chi a try instead of Yoga, or mix in some of each for 15 minutes. Will start Tai-Chi today.

Pain meds either haven't kicked in yet, or not doing what they're supposed to do.

May have to go back to my Orthopedic doctor. Last 3 days my knee has been putting out enough pain to keep me from doing much of anything. He sent over a prescription for pain meds. We'll see how they work.

Big week-end for NFL Divisional Playoffs.

Pre-prepping lunches/suppers for the next 5 days. Sleeping better, losing a little weight since we stopped eating out so much. Just going to eat out twice a month. If that much.

This morning was LUNK day at the Y. I only thought those idiots were on TV commercials. They're real! One dip wad was actually kissing his biceps while doing arm curls. A woman was snapping selfies as she was flexing in front of a mirror. What toadstool do these Lunks live under.
They need to find a private gym.

what in the world.. how did i become team leader for this team? i can take it on, but you know the team's in trouble if it defaulted to me.. =)

So, my non-running days (that's right, I'm now a runner, albeit a slooow one), I've started this routine:
1. 15min of resistance band circuit (damn!), and
2. 7-10min jumping rope (double damn!)

MUCH more intense than 45-60min of jogging...

That's awesome Zack. I've been getting my cardio mostly from walking (at first) and now running. I want to get a bike this spring. Any advice/suggestions?

Set a goal to ride 14 miles on Friday on a new road bike. I've been riding a max of 6.4 but went out and rode 14.4 because I set that goal. Not only that but my average speed on the road bike was 3mph faster. The only downside, well, I already ordered a new seat. The scale that was stuck for a week dropped 2 pounds as of this morning.

Went to the Y. A big sign was up in the lobby telling people to stay away if they had any of the following symptoms. I had two. But I did ask the receptionist about the sign. She said they've had to 'sterilize' the entire building twice since the outbreak of the CRUD. She said people still come in showing symptoms, and they have to send them away.

So I'm back doing my core workouts.

Went back to the Doc. Cold got worse. After more tests he announced that I now had full tilt Bronchitis. So I got an injection, and a couple more pills to take. Stay inside.
At least I get to look at the nice weather we are having 41F with sun.
Also suggested I eat more fiber foods and just do easy (?) core exercises.

I had the flu at the beginning of December. It shut down my workouts for at least two weeks. I went to the doctor and he said I wasn't going to die and wouldn't give me anything - one of those doctors that hates prescribing medicines. Hope you get to feeling better and you recover quickly.
